WWA SINGAPORE
RESULTS FROM 09/29/10
SINGAPORE CITY, SINGAPORE
HARDCORE MATCH
Nate Hatred versus The Hangman
These two brawled throughout this contest. The match was pretty short, but saw a lot of weapon usage. The Hangman managed to get the victory, hitting a Superplex through a table for the pinfall.
TAG TEAM MATCH
Sokoudjou & Menleus versus Ryuma Goto & Tay Seng Chuan
Goto used his superior size to take down Sokoudjou in the beginning, simply trying to ground and pound the Brazilian Jui Jitsu artist. Sokoudjou managed to clamp him into a surprise armbar, which Goto broke, but both men tagged out. Menleus ran in and got a big pop, catching Chuan with his signature flying knee attack, followed by some wild punches. Menleus worked a ground and pound of his own, trying to break Chuan guard. Chuan would get back to his feet, throw Menleus off with some kicks, and make the tag out. Menleus would catch Goto coming in with a number of knees, but Goto shocked with him with a big Side Suplex, sending him crashing onto his head! Goto would stay on him, nailing a few big clotheslines, but Menleus would get up and catch him with a heel kick to the face to knock him off of his game. Sokoudjou would reenter the ring, and catch Goto with a flurry of stiff punches, but he tagged out again. Chuan would hurry in and try a take down on Sokoujdou, but he was sprawled away with power and caught with a knee to the temple. Sokoudjou would then lock on a reverse Triangle Choke, causing Chuan to tap out.
Sokoujdou and Menleus would celebrate afterwards, and then greet the fans, signing some autographs and stuff as the ring crew took the opportunity to plant some fresh tables and weapons around the ring for the next contest.
HARDCORE MATCH
Troy Thunder versus The Nightstalker
Many of the fans were familiar with Troy Thunder from his stints in WCW, among other feds, but they had never really seen him in a hardcore environment before. He seemed to be very enthusiastic, and ready for battle. Nightstalker tried to play mind games, but Thunder wasn't playing around, going right after him and taking him to the outside. On the outside, Thunder unleashed a mighty German Suplex that sent Nightstalker cracking off the canvas. Thunder would follow up with a number of big clotheslines, just rolling over the veteran of the Singapore scene. Thunder would then break out a table, bridging it between the apron and a rail, before hitting a big Blue Thunder Bomb, crushing Nightstalker through it! Nightstalker managed to kick out of that, shockingly, and would catch Thunder with a low blow. Nightstalker found a barbed wire bat under the ring, and inflicted a lot of damage to Thunder with it, before pulling him into the ring. Nightstalker then began throwing numerous chairs into the ring, as Thunder tries to cull the fans energy. In the ring, Thunder would be attacked with chairs, but he would find it in himself to ignore the pain and rise up, smashing Nightstalker with a big Spear, followed by a Shining Wizard! We've never seen him do that... he ended the match by setting up a chair and delivering a Thunder (Burning) Hammer onto the seat of it, crushing Nightstalker! He would pin, and get the three count, as the fans cheered him like crazy!
Troy would get on the mic after the match, bloodied and hurting, and thank all of the fans who have supported him. He says he is glad to be in Singapore, working his ass off in front of a great crowd, and he will do his best to entertain them as long as he can! He gets a big round of applause, as the crew tries to clean up that wreckage.
HARDCORE MATCH
Shunji Feng Chu versus Soi Moon Mon
Shunji Feng Chu has been a force to reckon with since joining the Singapore roster. Soi Moon Mon is a local guy who has been trying to make a name for himself, and he did so by picking up a pinfall in a tag match over Chu's partner last week. He challenged Feng Chu, and this match was on. Shunji is a much bigger man than Moon Moon, having 6 inches and about 30 lbs. on him. Feng Chu came out powerful, working his opponent to the mat and trying to pound him. Moon Mon showed skills on the mat, working his way back up and then brawling with Feng Chu, trying not to let up on him and clotheslining him to the floor. Moon Mon then went to the top rope and did a front flip dive, smashing right onto Feng Chu! Moon Mon then grabbed a couple of chairs and then nailed a DDT onto them, going for the cover, but only a two count. Feng Chu managed to come back with a series of hard chops, followed by a Single Leg Powerbomb for a two count. Moon Mon would fight back, and catch Feng Chu off guard with a Moonsault Press as he was standing, but only got a two count. Feng Chu would be angered by this, unleashing two powerful Lariats onto Moon Mon, before nailing him with a Folding Powerbomb, followed by a painful looking elevated Boston Crab! Moon Mon was forced to tap out.
After the match, Feng Chu shook Moon Mon's hand, saying that he was tough, but he had a lot to learn.
HARDCORE TAG TEAM MATCH
Victor "The Viper" Blood & "The Demon" Drake Vyle versus Genocide: Koron Daleus & Isao Aoki
These two teams were barely in the ring, as they battled all over the arena floor and even out into the streets. These guys were all big and mean, and impressive to this crowd. Victor Blood was obviously a big star, but Drake Vyle has had his share of mainstream exposure, so they seemed to be the favorites of the fans. Genocide were the more cohesive team, however, and would end up winning this match after Daleus sent a fireball into the face of Drake Vyle, leading to a knee to the face off the apron from Aoki to get the pinfall.
TAG TEAM MATCH
Hyuk Suh Kim & "The Black Angel" Jaki Numazawa versus Mia & Ti Khan
Jaki Numazawa has become increasingly popular with the fans for his wild look and style. Hyuk Suh Kim is a legend with many titles under his belt, and the Khan Brothers have become very popular for their cohesiveness and exciting abilities. This was a back and forth match of varying styles, which saw Mia Khan lead his team most especially, as he used his more powerful frame and Judo background to man handle his opponents. "The Black Angel" resorted to some underhanded tactics and brawling, as well as a quick hurricanrana to change the tides on him, only to find the fast and hard hitting Ti Khan waiting to take him down. The Khan Brothers would manage a huge win tonight, as they hit a Superkick/German Suplex combo to get the pinfall.
HARDCORE MATCH
Nightmare versus Singapore Death Warrior
Two very decorated veterans of the ring were ready to go to war. SDW started out strong, plowing Nightmare into the turnbuckles and choking him, going into some stomps and punishing punches. SDW went to the outside, where he retrieved a bag of goodies. He pulled out a sickle! The Death Warrior went after Nightmare with the sickle, but Nightmare showed his striking prowess, nailing a big punching combo, finishing with a big uppercut and then a Mafia Kick that sent SDW through the ropes and to the outside! Nightmare and SDW brawled out there, and SDW started getting the upper hand, before hitting a Back Suplex on the floor. He then nailed a big elbow from the apron, but only got a two count. Nightmare went cheap, nailing a low blow on SDW and then double hand choking him, tossing him and smashing him into the turnpost. Nightmare would proceed to hit a Reverse DDT on the floor, thinking it was over, but no! SDW kicked out. Singapore Death Warrior fought back hard, sending things into the ring and hitting a number of clotheslines, before digging into Nightmare's forehead with the sickle! SDW would then nail a DDT, before going up to the top rope and trying for a Kamikaze Headbutt, but Nightmare moved! Bleeding bad, Nightmare signaled to the back out ran Nite Wing, Darkside, and Fear! They hit the ring, and began to stomp on SDW! The referee called for the bell...
This match was thrown out due to excessive interference, but the beat down continued. Nightmare pulled a chain from under the ring, and as the other guys held SDW down, he proceeded to blast him in the head with it! That's when Shadow WX, Archduke Baelzebub, Ned Grasty, and The Hangman all ran out to the ring with weapons in hand, ready to make the save! Archduke got on the mic and said that they were sick of these guys, and their egos, thinking they are so dark and badass... they are tired of it, and will not put up with it anymore! The fans cheered, as SDW was helped up to his feet. He had a few choice words for Nightmare's crew: "FUCK YOU! WE WILL SEND YOU... TO HELL!" Nightmare, Nite Wing, Darkside, and Fear all shook their heads, Nightmare smirking sadistically, as they left.
WWA SHOOT FIGHT TITLE TOURNAMENT
SINGLES MATCH
Andrei "The Pitbull" Arlovski versus Dos Caras Jr.
Good contest, in which Dos Caras came out with his mask on and looked ready to fight. He seemed to want to take Arlovski down, and did just that, looking to apply an armbar. Arlovski did not want to be on his back, but things weren't looking too good once he got onto all fours. He did manage to catch Dos Caras with a big back elbow, but Caras then went for a Rear Naked Choke. Arlovkski managed to escape that, and turn things over, mounting Caras and dropping some big bombs on him. Caras scurried out from under it, and got back to his feet, where he began to run the ropes. He then flew and caught Arlovski with a dropkick, which nearly knocked him out of the ring. Caras then went after him, but Arlovski grabbed him by the head and began to lay into him with some big knees. Caras broke away, throwing two big haymakers, one connecting and wobbling Arlovski back in a daze and down to the mat. The referee began to count, but Arlovski was up at a 6 count. Caras went for the take down, but Arlovski sprawled and began raining down with quick punches, most connecting to the head. Caras ducked away, holding his head, and Arlovski just started going crazy on him, kicking him in the kidneys and then dropping big bombs. The referee stopped the fight, as Caras was cowarded in the corner and didn't appear to be able to defend himself. "The Pitbull" advances!
Both men shake hands afterwards, and Dos Caras raised Arlovski's hand. The fans give them an ovation.

WWA SHOOT FIGHT TITLE TOURNAMENT
Renato "Babalu" Sobral versus Jesse "The Outlaw" Evans
Before the fight, Aleksander "Grim Reaper" Emelianenko came out to ringside to watch the fight, a man "Babalu" challenged to a fight last week. "Babalu" had some words for him, and Aleksander just smiled. The much bigger Jesse Evans made his way to the ring to a big ovation from the crowd, as he is widely popular due to his success in the WWA in America. The match started, and "Babalu" tried to chop down the big tree with many hurtful shoot kicks to the legs of Evans. Evans decided he had enough of that, and took "Babalu" down and started to maul him, trying to hammer him into the mat. "Babalu" attempted to lock on a Cross Armbar, but Evans was able to muscle out and get back to his feet. "Babalu" came in fierce, hitting a couple of lefts, but whiffing on a right hook, which allowed Evans to grab him by the waist and slam him into the turnbuckles. Sobral tried to fight off the bigger Evans with elbows, but Evans took him over with a big slam and mounted his back. Evans began to blast him in the back of the head with big punches, before going for an armbar of his own. Emelianenko would get up from his seat at this point, standing and watching. "Babalu" was able to escape the armbar attempt, and got up to his feet. He felt something on his boot, and it was Emelianenko, slapping his boot, which distracted him. "Babalu" yelled something at him, as he headed to the back, and that was a mistake for him. Evans blasted Sobral with three massive punches, sending him down, before Evans placed a knee on his jaw and pressed down. "Babalu" would manage to escape, but Evans was right on top of him, grabbing him in a front facelock and blasting him with knees. "Babalu" tried to hang on to a rope, but Evans yanked him to the middle of the ring. Evans would try to cave in "Babalu's" chest with some knees, before dropping backwards and hitting a DDT into a Guillitine Choke. "Babalu" was out, and Jesse Evans advances![/center]
