WWA SINGAPORE
"Fighting from the Darkest Corner of the Earth"
The promoter comes to the ring and gets the fans of Singapore excited for the shoot fighting and hardcore battles to come! He mentions such big names as Greg Lewis, The Monk, Andrei Arlovski, and Abdullah Kobayashi to get the fans very excited, before letting the show go on.
SINGLES MATCH
Wraith vs. Yoji Anjo
In the opener, we saw a large new comer by the name of Wraith take on the veteran Singapore star, Yoji Anjo. Anjo got killed early, as Wraith bulled forward and back him into a corner, smashing him with forearms left and right, before throwing him with a suplex. Wraith would slam him with a Sidewalk Slam, and then drill him with a big boot, before ending the match with a massive German Suplex to knock Anjo out cold.
TAG TEAM MATCH
Shunji Feng Chu & Mia Khan vs. Lai Choy Heng & Tang Seun Mun
Shunji Feng Chu is a big and powerful individual, but he has exceptional wrestling skills. He started this match off with the smaller Heng, and worked him on the mat, before nailing a big Backdrop Driver to get a two count. Mun came in, as did Khan, and they showed some striking ability, but mostly stayed on the mat. Feng Chu made his way back in and smashed Mun with some big clotheslines, before sending him to tag out. Heng tried to fly off of the ropes, but Chu caught him with a Side Belly to Belly, before hitting a powerbomb. Heng was down for the 10 count at that point, and the match was over.
SINGLES MATCH
Menleus vs. "Mr. Hardcore" Pat Smith w/ Johnny Rhodes
Smith managed to dodge an early running knee strike from Menleus, then caught him to the back of the ear with a big punch. Smith would then land a big Superman punch, which sent Menleus down. Smith started using some grounded kneestrikes to the head, which caused Menleus much damage, but he would not submit and got up before a 10 count. Menleus would catch Smith off guard, rolling him into a leglock, but Smith got the ropes. "Mr. Hardcore" caught Menleus with a back elbow strike, before locking in a Rear Naked Choke for the submission.
SINGLES MATCH
Renato "Babalu" Sorbral vs. Hyuk Suh Kim
Hyuk Suh Kim took some big shots early, as Babalu landed a punching combo and took him to the mat. Kim, a great high flier, showed his ground skills to escape Sorbral's mount, and caught him with some armdrags on the way up. Sorbral and HSK would trade some kicks, before Kim caught him with a spinning heel kick. Sorbral would use his size to pick up Kim and slam him to the mat, before driving a bunch of elbows and punches into his head. Kim would get to his feet at a 6 count, only to catch some big knees and then a roundhouse kick to the head to knock him out. Big win for Babalu here!
SINGLES MATCH
Nightmare vs. Shadow WX
Wild brawl between a former NWA World champion and a hardcore legend. Nightmare was on the attack in a vicious way, but Shadow WX took things to the outside and got hardcore, causing Nightmare to bleed from his head and his back. Shadow WX made a huge mistake in lighting himself on fire and trying to splash Nightmare through a table, which lead to Nightmare hitting a piledriver on the floor to knock him out.
SINGLES MATCH
Yoon Dong-Sik vs. Andrei "The Pitbull" Arlovski
These two would trade shots early, Arlovski showing phenomenal hand speed, but Dong-Sik would catch him jabbing with a haymaker to take him down. It was only a matter of time, as they switched various positions on the ground, before the Korean superstar would pull over "The Pitbull" and lock him into a Cross Armbar for the submission.
TAG TEAM MATCH
Abdullah Kobayashi & The Centurian vs. Bellah Ashcraft & Anthius
Very hardcore match, as the former World Hardcore champion introduced an old superstar by the name of The Centurian into the mix to take on Ashcraft and the returning enigma, Anthius, to have a high impact and hardcore match. Lots of brawling and blood, which ended in The Centurian smashing Ashcraft through a table with a Running Powerbomb to get the knockout victory.
TAG TEAM MATCH
Kazunari Murakami & The Monk vs. Katsuyori Shibata & Greg "The Lion" Lewis
This was a mix up of two matches that happened at the last show. Murakami and The Monk were very cocky coming in, while Shibata and Lewis seemed focused and took the fight to their opponents. Lewis was angry, and he was relentless in beating down The Monk in the corner. The ref would try to break it up, but Lewis kept bashing knees into his skull. The Monk, a former Hardcore champion, showed great toughness to get up from that and take more of a beating from Shibata, but would look on a leg scissors that nearly got a submission. Shibata got to the ropes, however, and The Monk tagged out. Shibata and Murakami tee'd off on one another, swinging for the fences, before Shibata would take it to the mat and attempt an armbar, but Murakami escaped. Murakami would deliver a huge uppercut to wobble Shibata, and then a roundhouse kick to his head, but Shibata got up at eight. "The Lion" would come in from there, and he and Murakami would go another round, picking up right where they left off from the last show, swinging and scrapping. This time Lewis brilliantly ducked a backfist from Murakami, catching him with a haymaker, and then pouncing on him with two big elbows to the head. The ref counted, and Murakami was done. Lewis and Shibata got the win, much to the fans pleasure!
