Las Vegas, Nevada: This past Friday afternoon, we were notified by representatives of Golden Boy Promotions that Affliction Wrestling would be no longer recognizing National Wrestling Alliance branded championships as their primary championships. Effective 12:00 noon on Monday, September 20th, Affliction Wrestling would not be renewing it's membership with the NWA.
There will be a bout between Brock Lesnar, Affliction Continental Americas champion and Affliction champion Quinton Jackson to determine the first ever Affliction Wrestling World Heavyweight Champion.
Primetime Sports also announce that they would be leaving the business agreement with Golden Boy Promotions as GBP would be creating a professional wrestling committee within it's own promotional company. Primetime Sports, does own several wrestlers contracts that it will be taking with them, as chairman Christopher Champion will be joining Riot Squad Wrestling out of Omaha, Nebraska - owned by Frank Dusek and family. Mr. Dusek is the current president of the National Wrestling Alliance. Mr. Champion has also informed the NWA that the wrestlers that are under contract that also has obligations with MLW and ROH will still be fulfilled and continued.
A list of the talent that is still under contract with PTS Sports are as follows:
"The Phenomenon" Adam Riggs ‘Scrap Iron’ Adam Pearce - current NWA World champion 'The Shooter’ Brent Albright Matt Morgan Richie Steamboat 'Bravehart' Richard Barron Christopher Windham The New Age Saints: Kyle Stafford & Shaun McAndrews

Affliction Wrestling has been a disapointment. I wish them luck on their own, but I am not too sure they will make it. I forsee a buyout of Affliction Wrestling soon.

Wow, this is some interesting news. On a side note, I'd actually like to have some guys from Affliction coming over and working in Singapore, so yeah, looking forward to seeing how this all pans out.
